MATERIAL DESCRIPTION, MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

This alloy 28 is an austenitic low-carbon iron-nickel-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper additions. It has a high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and to stress-corrosion. It has a very good resistance to oxidizing media.
